Redeemer Baptist Church is a voluntary, local community of regenerated believers, who have been united by the Holy Spirit. We confess Jesus Christ as Lord. In obedience to the Holy Bible, we covenant together to live out the reality of our faith in community and under the authority of qualified leadership. Therefore, we gather regularly for mutual edification, the preaching of God’s Word, worship and to observe the biblical ordinances. In mutual love, we practice biblical accountability and church discipline for the increase of our personal and corporate holiness. We work together to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission as missionaries to the world for God's glory and their joy.

We believe that every person is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). We acknowledge that in the garden, our first parents, desired to be like God and know the difference between good and evil and were expelled from the garden. We inherited their guilt and sin. We recognize that we are all sinners who fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). We know that we deserve death because of these sins, but we have been saved and transformed by God’s grace (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10). We welcome all people to hear the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As a church, we recognize marriage as a Divine institution established by God as clearly described in the Holy Bible as the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime (Genesis 2:18-25). Further, we believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4.) We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.) We believe that every person is created in the image of God and must, therefore, be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of this Church. Therefore, while this church recognizes that we are all sinners who can only be saved and transformed by God’s grace (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10) and consequently welcomes all persons to hear the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this church, its pastors, and its ministerial staff will not participate nor officiate in same-sex unions or same-sex marriage, nor shall its property or resources be used for such purposes.

Our purpose is to Glorify God by being a Gospel-Centered Community. We prioritize the Worship of God; the Proclamation of the Gospel; the Discipleship of Believers; the Service to Everyone and the Stewardship of all of life to the Glory of God in order to assist allow us to fulfill our purpose.

We accept only the Holy Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and holy Word of God and as the basis of all our beliefs and practices. No other document shall take precedence over the Holy Bible in the life, decisions, and governance of this church.

We subscribe to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963 and revised in June 2000.

We observe the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
